Business Course online. Do employers accept it in Saudi Arabia?
I’m a lowly (third year) student at college. I am studying English. In activity for the job market, i am thinking to verify an ONLINE launching course to business and maybe whatever more courses from a VERY well-known Lincoln in the US.
My questions:
1- Will it be multipurpose when i administer for a job? especially when i intend a credential from an licenced and known-for-its-good-education school.
2- Do employers in [[Saudi Arabia]] accept this category of certificates (Distance Learning)? (baring in nous the high ranking of the university)
3- Any suggestions or advice?

Distance learning is acceptable and why not? Degrees or diplomas are acceptable worldwide.
Business courses are very useful not only in job but in other aspects of life. If i decide to study again, i would definitly choose Business or Project management.
Go for it and good luck.
in provet sector yes it is accpted
but in the goverment sector they will not accept it
but keep in mind this will help you to get a better job and will inhance your knowledge even if they do not accept it
They do accept it, but if you walk in there with a Distance Learning program from a non-ivy school (although it is famous in the US and Canada) you wont get that much of a ‘wow’ on your Resume. Try to enroll in an actual full-time, Ivy-league university (Princeton, Harvard, Yale etc.) that will cause the HR Dept. to go “Holy S**T !” and potentially hire you if you have the right personality and traits(no school can change that) for that job.
I generally advise AGAINST taking Distance learning courses

I have checked on this for my husband’s friends. There are two things.
1. an online degree and 2. just courses
Saudi Arabia will not accept an online degree, regardless of the university. Even if the university shows up in the list of approved universities, you still have to call and ask if the program is accepted. I was told by the Saudi rep at the mohe that if the degree is offered online, it will NOT be accepted period. Private companies may acknowledge it though, however they wont certifiy it at Saudi Arabia’s ministry of higher education.
2. If you are already enrolled in a degree program, you may be able to take an online course, but you will need approval first. I know a Saudi guy here on a scholarship (my husband’s friend) and he is enrolled in a business program. They allowed him to take two online courses. However, he is here on a student visa. I’m not sure how you would be accepted into an accredited university without coming here though… From what I’ve noticed, to be accepted to universities here as a student one must either be a citizen, legal resident (green card holder) or be here on a student visa.
